I've been a photographer all my working life. Five years assisting in London, then running my own studio in Clerkenwell. In the early 90's I moved to Spain, where I lived and worked for nine years, five years in Madrid and four in the province of Cadiz. Then followed many years in South West France.

These days, I'm even more of a nomad, dividing my time between Bulgaria, England & Spain. It doesn't really matter where I 'live' as I'm always travelling. My latest passion is discovering Eastern Europe, especially the fascinating and wonderful country of Ukraine.

This is me with my Mum and first camera on my 8th birthday.

Below is the older, but not neccesarily wiser, version during a recent shoot for Conde Nast Traveller magazine on the West coast of Scotland.

I work for a wide variety of magazines all over Europe and America, including Conde Nast Traveller, Forbes Life, Town & Country, Food Illustrated, House & Garden & Traditional Home, I am a contributing photographer to the International Wine Magazine 'Le Pan' and have had many books published, the latest being ‘England’s Hideaways’, a guide to the best secret hotels and castles in the UK (published in New York and London by Rizzoli),  the 'Buenvino Cookbook', published in the UK by Benefactum and 'Cassoulet, a French Obsession' with Kate Hill, published in the US by Rancho Gordo.

I have a number of prestigious Hotel clients including The Chiltern Firestation Hotel in London, The Faena Hotel+Universe in Buenos Aires, The Hotel Villa Magna, in Madrid, The Chedi Hotel in Muscat, Oman, The Casa Claridge Hotel in Miami and have been 'House Photographer' for Michel Guerards 'Les Pres d'Eugenie' in South West France for several years.

Alongside my commercial work I run food and travel photography workshops in Spain, Bulgaria, France and Finland.
